On Saturday, September 19th, and Sunday, September 20th, we will hold Sunday School Registration outside after each Divine Liturgy for all grade levels.
This coincides with our Annual Family Weekend. Weather-dependent tents will be set up on our church grounds with tasty treats, drinks, and registration forms.
Mark your calendars.
The first day of Sunday School is scheduled for Sunday, September 27th @ 10 am, right after our 9 am Divine Liturgy.

Divine Liturgy Live Streaming Schedule
All our Faithful are expected to have and use donation envelopes.
If you are a Newcomer to our Parish, please give your name to an Usher, so that they can prepare new envelopes for this year. 
Church envelopes and beautiful Liturgical Calendars are available in the church basement for pick-up.

On Sunday, September 13th @ 10 am all Sunday School Staff will meet in the Church to discuss the opening of the school year, and finalize the school fall semester calendar of events.
Mnohaya Lita to Yuliya Khromyak and Francesco Luuigi Campese on their matrimony this past weekend. Many blessings from God for health, happiness, prosperity, faith, joy, and love for many, many happy years!
Please keep Father Robert Hitchens in your prayers, as he continues to receive treatment in Washington, DC.
Father Robert expresses his gratitude to all who are sending prayers for his health, recovery, and well-being. 
Our Parish Summer Projects are underway!
Our church's 1936 electrical system repair and replacement is underway. Father met with PECO to discuss the necessary updates, which include both internal and external wiring. This unified system should make everything safe and easy to use. Vulcan Co. will replace one of our 1962-vintage ovens in our kitchen. We are grateful to Chris Senyk for his advisory role and am hopeful to complete the installation after Labor Day. 
Please keep in your daily prayers those who are sick and ailing in our parish. For a current list of folks and shut-ins in need of prayers, check the latest bulletin.
We also ask you to keep in your prayers Father Robert Hitchens, who is receiving outpatient care in a Washington, DC, hospital. Father Robert expresses his gratitude to all who are sending prayers for his health and well-being. 
Our local Knights of Columbus chapter presented our Church with a $40,000 gift. We are so grateful for their service to the community and to our church, and for their charitable support of many Bridgeport organizations. We plan on using this fund to repair appliances and other items in our Hall Kitchen.

Pray for Peace in Ukraine & Globally Throughout the World

Our brothers and sisters in Ukraine hope and pray that we here in America do not forget them in their trials and tribulations of war. They hope and expect us to 1) pray for them and 2) support them.
And this is exactly what we do here at SS Peter & Paul, the center of all things Ukrainian in Montgomery county. So don't stay home Saturdays and Sundays. Come to Church and pray with us. Both God and our kin in blood and spirit need us NOW, need our prayers and need our support! 
We continually pray for all who travel to the safety of neighboring nations as well as those who fight for freedom, and the perseverance of liberty, justice, and independence.

If you would like to volunteer your services no matter how small, please speak to Father. We can always use a helping hand with our school program, catering events and church activities. |
Pray for Others
Please check the latest bulletin for the current list of our faithful on our prayer list. Please pray for our seriously ill faithful, sick, elderly, and shut ins.
Consider doing acts of charity and acts of kindness. Perhaps a card, a note, a call, an email, a visit, a kind thought, creating a gift, making a care package, doing a checkup call, and a prayer....? To see the current list, please refer our recent bulletins.
